This is something that has gotten me through whenever I felt tired or just didn’t feel like working.
It’s called “Thinking in the extremes.”
The real thing that matters is just doing the thing, no matter what. How you trick your brain to do it is up to you.
So whenever I encounter a setback and just don’t feel like doing it, I think about the people who worked as slaves in the early ages.
They had to work all day, every day, and had no option.
I imagine people who were born in places worse than mine and the hardships they endured to become successful.
I think in my head, “What if in 5 years, I die due to a dangerous disease? How would I act knowing that my days are closing in?”
This is one of the powerful motivation techniques I use to push through, and surprisingly, it works better than any motivational video.
